What these terms cover
These terms apply when you connect a business bank, store, marketplace, payment-processor or accounting account to Draft, which is operated by Arbour Villa Limited. They sit alongside our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle the information, and any financing agreement the business signs.
Your authority
By connecting an account, you confirm that you're authorised by the business to connect it and to share its information with us for the purposes below, and that the account belongs to the business or a business connected with it.
Draft's financing is for businesses only. Please don't connect a personal account unless we've specifically asked for it and explained why.
Access and use
We use connected information for the purposes in our Privacy Notice: to assess, provide, monitor and manage financing for the business, to verify identity and prevent fraud, to improve how we assess and serve businesses, and to meet our legal obligations.
Bank connections are read-only. Some sales and accounting platforms grant broader permissions than we need, but we only read information from them. We never create, change or delete your records, and we never move money through a connection.
While a connection remains active, we may refresh connected information to keep our view of the business current. Connecting an account doesn't commit you or us to any financing, and there's no charge for connecting.
Connection providers
We use Plaid for bank connections and Rutter for sales and accounting connections. You approve each connection with the provider or platform, under its own terms and privacy policy, and we never receive your passwords. The information is provided as the source holds it, and we can't guarantee that a platform or provider will always be available or complete.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect any account at any time, as our security page explains, or by emailing fergus@arbourvilla.ie. Disconnecting stops new information reaching us. It doesn't end or change a financing agreement, which may have its own reporting requirements.
General
We may update these terms, and we'll show the date of the latest version at the top of this page. If a change materially affects an active connection, we'll tell the business before it takes effect. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law. For questions, contact Fergus O'Reilly at fergus@arbourvilla.ie.
